WHO IS JENNY?
This colouring book is dedicated to my cousin and best friend, Jenny. She was the brightest light in my life and had the biggest heart — and a special love for penguins.
Creating this book was my way of honouring her memory and sharing a little of the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. May each penguin you colour bring you a smile, just like she always did for me.
Forever loved, forever missed.
Jenny- my cousin and best friend was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2020 and, after a long and tough battle, she unfortunately grew her angel wings in August 2022.
Jenny was moved to Myton Hospice where she spent her last 4.5 months. Myton were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to care and look after Jenny. My family and I will forever be grateful to them for everything they did for Jenny, and for us.
Jenny set out a bucket list of things she wanted to do before she grew her wings, one of which were to visit the penguins. Unfortunately, Jenny’s health took an unexpected change at a rapid rate, this meant we had to pull some strings and organise the surprise of the year. Working hard with Myton hospice, we arranged for the Penguins, Pringle and Widget from Heythrop zoo to come and visit Jenny at the hospice.
A memory never to forget for the family and for Jenny.
